Van der Waal's GAS EQUATION

Instead of PV=nRT for an ideal gas, if an * appears in the formula entry window, the calculator will substitute the equation:
(atm+a*moles^2/liters^2)*(liters-moles*b) = moles*R*degK
where a and b are Van der Waal's gas constants. You may use any of the units for temperature or pressure and it will do the conversions necessary. However when you specify the values of a and b from a table, they must have dimensions consistant with this equation. See Partial Pressures for some examples. You can use a combination of ideal and non-ideal gases by setting a=b=0 for ideal gases.
